I really liked this article. I am a long time writer and a new stay at home mom to a seven month old. At first I thought I could just write when it fit best in the day, but everything seemed to get done except writing.
Now I alternate days, some days I wake up early to write, other days I wake up early to run. When I run, morning naptime becomes my writing time. Other things get done when I have time because I have new priorities.
Either way I feel like I start every day with something I care about and that is just for me and no one else. Morning is when I am freshest and I find I can actually write more this way, take the weekends off, and still meet my writing goals.
