I remember the good old days when my BFF and I would go shopping for hours. Flash to the present...I'm in and out of a store in less than a half an hour! Thanks to kids and a hubby (who seems to have less patience than my toddlers) I'm flat out zooming around the store. LOL

As for clothes, the last time I shopped for myself was in Oct 08 and I was so lost, I had to take my SIL!!! *sigh* Don't even ask me about doing my hair. I miss the easy days of the Jennifer Aniston shag, LOL

Over and over and over and over...sometimes twice in one day over. again. :) Yup. Totally get that.

Dry cleaning is just too much hassle. Especially since in my little town, we don't have one so I have to to the "big" town to drop it off. Why do that, when I can grab tshirt style #4B in color #4 instead?

Hi Ashley! I'm all about making fun of things today. :) Making fun of my clothing here and making fun of the worst things writers do to their careers over there. Seemed like good Monday morning conversation. :)

And Kohl's is fantastic for tshirts in 5 colors. In fact, most recently, that is where my recent Mommy attire clothing came from. LOL

Skirts? You're one up on me! LOL

I know, I'm sounding like an absolute slob about now. *sigh* I promise, I do have the ability to dress like a normal person when I'm in public. Really!

I'll even take pictures at the book signing to prove it.

ROFL at the "you look so nice" comment. When I came out of the bedroom on Saturday (I had a workshop to give before going to meet my BFF), my hubby looked at me like I was a different woman. LOL

And truly? BLOW DRY my hair? Pshaww...who has time to do that anymore? *grin*

And I am NOT admitting to any section of my closet being the "will wear again someday." Nope. Not gonna do it. Because it's not like there's a whole shelf full of "those" jeans or anything.

Comfort absolutely rocks!! I mean, I know Stacey and Clinton would have heart attacks at the mere mention of elastic waistband, but hey...I'm sitting at a computer. I MUST be comfy.

So okay, folks...let's have it -- your oldest tshirt? Your funnniest??

My oldest and favorite (because it's sooooo soft by now) is an ancient Old Navy t-shirt. I love sleeping in that.

Jeannie - I love your dual posts today. Just left one at your other site...

I love and long for shopping time with girl friends. I have to admit, most recently, involved a brief shopping adventure with my mom, and a few dashes into Kohls, buying everything that catches my eye in the Daisy Fuentes / Elle aisle in my size, with the majority still to be returned. Save for the t-shirts in 5 colors. LOL.

Adding insult to injury, they just increased the size of our mall. I pass by williams sonoma and pottery barn with toddlers in tow... I will not take them inside. I cannot justify taking two whirling dervishes inside where glass gleams, and china sparkles.

I did get to wear my non-mommy clothes that I bought a few months ago when shopping with my mom - when DH and I went out for a grown up date night. While putting on my makeup, my daughter said to me with a big grin!

"You look just like Grandma!"

I looked at myself again. SKIDDED to a halt. She was right. A taller, longer haired version of my mother. (NOT THAT This is a bad thing -- hi, mom!)

I grabbed the Kohl's exchange bag and found a different shirt.

I've always been a comfort girl. My wardrobe mostly consists of tank tops and t-shirts with jeans and shorts. I also have some easy to take care of short sleeve button downs. However, I do like to dress up as well...so I have a few nice dresses and tops.

Pregnancy and writing attire is pretty much the same...tank top with shorts for writing and change into a skirt to head out.
